Corneal Molding--OrthoK

Precision corneal molding (PCM) can eliminate the need for eyeglasses by sleeping with a specially designed contact lens. This process has been compared to wearing a dental retainer. Ortho-K is not permanent and the molding lenses must be worn a few nights per week to maintain the results. PCM is a good alternative to laser vision correction, particularly for children, and is often called " kids lasik. "
